Even before stepping foot on the hardwood of Eddie Sutton Court in Gallagher-Iba Arena, Cade Cunningham's stardom was inevitable.
On Thursday, the Detroit Pistons selected Cunningham with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. Cunningham is the first Oklahoma State player to be selected first overall in the draft.
Cunningham, a top-prospect since his freshman year in high school, attended OSU for one season, averaging 20.2 points per game and 6.2 assists per game.
His freshman year at OSU was highlighted a 40-point game against Oklahoma and the Cowboys first Big 12 title game appearance since 2005.
