McGuinness star linebacker Brynden Walker is headed to Norman instead of Stillwater.
Walker announced Sunday afternoon that he had flipped his commitment from Oklahoma State to Oklahoma, nearly four months after he committed to the Cowboys.
He announced it on his Twitter page, posting a picture in a No. 9 OU jersey with a message thanking his mom and sister.
OU offered the 6-foot-3, 245-pound senior in April. He committed to OSU on March 4. A three-star recruit, he holds more than a dozen scholarship offers, including Texas, Texas Tech and Rutgers.
Walker is the lone in-state player from the 2020 class to commit to OU, though Norman quarterback Cade Horton is expected to join the team along with playing baseball.
