Chuba Hubbard is consistently one of the last Oklahoma State football players to walk into Boone Pickens Stadium for interviews after Tuesday practices.
When most of his teammates leave the Sherman E. Smith Training Center and cross Hall of Fame Avenue, Hubbard works a little longer. Although Hubbard is known for his speed and agility as a running back, he spends his extra practice time catching footballs from the JUGS throwing machine to improve his hand reflexes.
After the Cowboys’ bye week, Hubbard, a redshirt sophomore from Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada, maintains his spot atop the FBS with 1,094 rushing yards.
