As sophomore Braxtin Miller started to cool off, Tennessee guard Evina Westbrook stayed red hot.
In an offensive duel between Miller and Westbrook, the Oklahoma State women’s basketball team came up short, losing to Tennessee 76-63 on Sunday afternoon in Gallagher-Iba Arena.
Miller put on a show in front of a loud GIA crowd. After missing her first two shots, she was lights out for the rest of the first half, going 7-for-9 including two 3-pointers. She finished the half with 22 points, a large reason OSU took a lead into the break.
She was on the attack the entire game, which showed in her getting fouled nine times and shooting a whopping 16 free throws.
