Sometimes bluntness is more effective than a doctored truth.
Mike Gundy opted for bluntness when assessing quarterback Alan Bowman’s outing in Oklahoma State’s 22-19 loss to then 12th-ranked Utah on Saturday. It wasn’t good – 16-of-33 passing for 202 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.
“He just didn’t play as well as what we would have wanted (him) to or what he would have wanted to,” Gundy said Monday in his weekly press conference. “I just had a guy in (my) office five minutes ago and he asked me, and I didn’t have an answer for him.
