Oklahoma State’s defensive performance this past Saturday in Waco against Baylor was a prime factor in the Cowboys’ 38-28 loss.
On Monday, during his weekly press conference, OSU head coach Mike Gundy said during his film-review session Sunday, he counted 21 missed tackles that led to 258 yards of offense for Baylor.
Three of those, Gundy said, were missed tackles in the backfield that led to Bears’ quarterback Sawyer Robertson amounting to 73 rushing yards and a touchdown in the fourth quarter. Running back Dawson Pendergrass rushed for 142 yards and a touchdown on six carries (!
