Seven games into its 2024 season, Oklahoma State is 3-4, under .500 for the first time since 2014 and 0-4 in Big 12 Conference play for the first time since 2005 — Mike Gundy’s first season as OSU’s head coach — after a 38-35 road loss to BYU on Friday.
What OSU fans, players and coaches had hoped for in the offseason after retaining a large portion of a team that went 10-4 and made the Big 12 Championship Game is no longer in the realm of possibilities.
Except for one thing — a bowl appearance.
The Cowboys have appeared in a bowl game for 18 straight seasons dating back to 2006.
