Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy named Alan Bowman the Cowboys’ next starting quarterback on Thursday during his media luncheon. The announcement confirms a notion OSU fans had invested in since the former Texas Tech star committed in January.

Bowman came to Stillwater as one of the more proven and experienced passers in college football. Including a Covid year and a medical redshirt, this will be the sixth college season for Bowman, between three Power Five programs.
In just 26 games, Bowman has amassed 5,329 passing yards and 34 touchdowns to 18 just interceptions.
