Graduate transfer Mike Cunningham is no longer a member of Oklahoma State’s basketball team, the program announced Tuesday.
Cunningham, a point guard, played in only seven games at OSU, scoring 56 points to go with 11 rebounds, eight assists and five steals. Cunningham transferred from USC-Upstate. He scored a season-high 15 points against Villanova in the AdvoCare Invitational and scored in double figures twice more as a Cowboy.
Cunningham missed the Cowboys’ first three games of the season with a hamstring injury and has sat out the past four for unspecified disciplinary reasons.
“Mike has decided that he wants to move on to the next phase of his life,” OSU coach Mike Boynton said in a release.
