Former Oklahoma State defensive tackle Vincent Taylor is done for the year following an injury that took him out of the Dolphins’ Thursday night game in Houston. On Tuesday, the team announced that they had placed Taylor on injured reserve.
Taylor was carted off of the field during the first half of the Dolphins’ 42-23 loss to the Texans with a reported foot injury and did not return.
The second-year D-lineman had carved himself out a meaningful role in the Dolphins’ defense, grabbing 26 total tackles, two sacks and a blocking one kick in eight games this season.
