STILLWATER — Mike Boynton and his Oklahoma State players don't want to put too much stock in one early December game, even though it is a visit from the No. 6 team in the country.
Still, in the back of their minds, the Cowboys know what a win over Wichita State in Saturday's 3 p.m. game at Gallagher-Iba Arena could do for their season.
They know, because they saw the boost it gave them when they won at Wichita State a year ago.
“It really was important,” sophomore guard Brandon Averette said. “It showed us how good we were.
