STILLWATER — Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy is believed to potentially receive a new contract or a contact extension, according to The Tulsa World.
Gundy, who enters his 12th season as head coach in 2016, has four years remaining on the eight-year and more than $29-million contract he signed after the Cowboys' Fiesta Bowl victory in 2012. Gundy was the 22nd highest paid coach in college football last season at $3.65 million, according to USA Today.
The Cowboys have made 10-straight bowl appearances and tallied four 10-win seasons under Gundy. His overall record since 2005 is 94-47.
