Media Notes: Former Baylor guard hired as OU radio analyst

Kevin Henry, a former New Mexico and Baylor guard, has been hired as the radio analyst for the OU men's basketball broadcasts. Henry, who was an occasional analyst last season on Sooners Sports TV, played at New Mexico (1997-2000) before transferring to Baylor (2000-02). While at New Mexico, he sank 102 3-pointers in the 1998-99 season to set a school record. In 124 games at the schools, he averaged 8.0 points per game.

Henry, 37, also serves the OU athletics staff as director of community relations, overseeing all community and volunteer aspects.

“It's an honor to be a part of the Oklahoma basketball tradition and call games alongside Toby Rowland,” Henry said in a news release.
