Sophomore forward Cameron McGriff dunks the ball in Oklahoma State's 84-79 victory against Kansas on Saturday.
Devin Lawrence Wilber/O'CollyLAWRENCE, Kan. —Cameron McGriff planted his right sneaker on James Naismith Court, sharply cutting toward the basket from the left corner.
Three steps later, McGriff gathered himself to go up for a potential rebound. Kendall Smith’s layup attempt sailed long, and McGriff glided through the air, his eyes and hands following the ball.
The ball came off the backboard low, and McGriff caught it near his chest below the basket. In a swift motion, McGriff extended upward, slamming the ball, and landed facing the Oklahoma State men’s basketball team’s bench, flexing his arms while yelling at his teammates.
