If the third time is a charm for Carson McCusker, then he will earn his first victory against the Oral Roberts baseball team.
McCusker, a junior outfielder, started playing at Oklahoma State during the past season as a transfer from Folsom Lake College in California and a newcomer to the Cowboys’ rivalry games.
Although the Golden Eagles don’t match Oklahoma’s status as OSU’s top in-state foe, they have given the Cowboys (5-2) more recent trouble than the Sooners have.
ORU defeated OSU twice in 2018.
