The Oklahoma State baseball team took Game 1 against the Jayhawks 11-6 Thursday night in Lawrence, Kansas.
The Cowboys scored at least one run in each of the first six innings and scored eight combined runs in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings. OSU (20-13 overall, 4-6 Big 12) built a 3-0 lead on an RBI single, a sacrifice bunt paired with an error and a HBP in the first three frames before Kansas could plate a run.
After Kansas (15-18, 4-6) scored once in the bottom of the third to cut the deficit to 3-1, the Cowboys opened up the offense.
