Mason Rudolph Tosses for 437 to lead OSU Past Kansas State

On a day in which the running game was almost completely dormant, quarterback Mason Rudolph lead the team in a come from behind victory to outlast the fighting Snydercats 36-34.

Rudolph finished the day with 437 passing yards, the fourth-highest in program history. The other top three belong to Brandon Weeden.

Going into the day, the Cowboys were without leading rusher Chris Carson and Rennie Childs due to injury, and Gundy knew he had a tough challenge ahead. In the postgame, Gundy said he had a feeling they would have to toss it around a lot.

Gundy: "We had a feeling we would have to throw the ball 50 times.
