Mason Rudolph Named Semifinalist for Walter Camp Award

National recognition for Mason Rudolph continued to pour in on Wednesday when he was named a semifinalist for the Walter Camp Award, given annually to the college football player of the year.

The award, which is the fourth-oldest college football award in the nation, is voted on by the 130 FBS head coaches and SIDs. Here are the fifteen finalists that were named along with Rudolph.

  • Lamar Jackson, Louisville
  • Jaquan Johnson, Miami
  • Bryce Love, Miami
  • Jonathan Taylor, Wisconsin
  • Khalil Tate, Arizona
  • Rashaad Penny, SDSU
  • McKenzie Milton, UCF

Rudolph leads the entire FBS in passing yards with 3,690, and has tossed 30 touchdowns on the season.
