A few days ago, we posted the picture that is pretty much viral by now. It's the one featured above, Oklahoma State quarterback Mason Rudolph holding cancer survivor Gavin. Gavin was with Special Spectators, a group who helps kids battling serious illnesses have fun by taking them to games nationwide for the experience.
The story is already great. You could leave it there and no one would ask much more. Football comes second. In the end of the day, it's not as big as most other things in life. Jenni Carlson from The Oklahoman got this quote from Rudolph:
"It just kind of puts everything in perspective for us," Rudolph said.
