Marty Lees is heading back to Oklahoma State as a baseball assistant coach on Josh Holliday’s staff, reports Kendall Rogers of D1 Baseball.
The news of Lees returning to Stillwater comes two days after rumors that recruiting coordinator and third base coach James Vilade was leaving the program.
Lees spent 11 seasons at Oregon State in multiple roles before joining the Cowboys in June 2012. As an associate head coach and recruiting coordinator, he helped the Cowboys to three consecutive NCAA Regional trips, including a Super Regional trip in 2014. After the 2015 season, Lees took the Washington State head coaching job.
