Martin, the Big 12’s leader in points, rebounds, steals, double-doubles and minutes played, was named co-defensive player of the year with Texas’ Imani Boytette. The closest OSU had was Andrea Riley in 2008, but she lost to Oklahoma’s Courtney Paris.
Littell was also the first OSU coach to be named conference coach of the year. The Cowgirls, picked eighth in the preseason polls, finished fourth at 21-8 overall and 11-7 in the Big 12.
