Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart has been fined $15,000 by the NBA for making an obscene gesture, the league announced Monday.
The incident occurred with 1:49 remaining in the third quarter of the Celtics' 105-104 win over New York on March 4 at TD Garden.
Smart, the former Oklahoma State standout, received the fine for grabbing at his crotch. The incident was captured here by Dave Green on Twitter @DavidMGeen
