Party like it’s 2009. Oklahoma State did something Friday night for the first time since that year. The Cowboys won an NCAA Tournament game. They will advance to the round of 32 after a nice 69-60 win over Liberty.
Liberty was able to keep Cade Cunningham in check to start the game, keeping him scoreless in the first half. In the second half, Cunningham turned on the jets ending the game with 15 points. In the meantime, it was Avery Anderson’s time to shine. With 12 points and 5 rebounds in the first half, Anderson was much of the reason the Cowboys went into the locker room only down by three after some poor play including 7 turnovers in the first half.
