Oklahoma State University senior forward Natasha Mack is in the running for the most prestigious award in college basketball.
Mack was named to the Naismith Trophy watchlist on Monday, the trophy going to the NCAA women’s basketball player of the year.
Last season, Mack was named to the Naismith Trophy defensive player of the year midseason team. After her breakout junior year in which she averaged 17.6 points and 15.5 rebounds per game, Mack is expected to be among the top players in women’s college basketball.
Mack was one of 50 players added to the preseason award watchlist.
