Loryn Goodwin always dreamed she would play in the WNBA.
Coming out of Cypress Falls High School in Texas, Goodwin, a guard, had an offer from only North Texas, a small Division I program. She played at and transferred from North Texas, Butler and Texas-San Antonio; during that time, she said she didn’t think playing professionally was a possibility.
“When I was 4 years old, I had a dream that I was going to play in the WNBA,” Goodwin said. “You couldn’t tell me otherwise that I wasn’t going to. Then, life kind of hits you.”
As a graduate transfer, Goodwin found her way to Stillwater and made an impact in her final collegiate season.
