As Isaac Likekele dribbled and approached the basket, he initially considered shooting a layup.
He didn’t do it.
Instead, Likekele lobbed the ball above two defenders near the hoop and let Cameron McGriff take control.
McGriff rose to meet the basketball in midair, caught it and flung it through the net, executing an alley-oop to put a bow on top of a teamwork-driven sequence. Likekele and McGriff’s excitement rippled to the Oklahoma State men’s basketball team’s bench, where the Cowboys amplified the energy as smiles spread across their faces.
In Likekele’s first game back after missing four because of an illness, OSU throttled Southeastern Louisiana 82-31 on Sunday afternoon in Gallagher-Iba Arena.
