Oklahoma State guard Isaac Likekele and the United States took the gold medal on Sunday with a 93-79 victory against Mali at the FIBA U19 World Cup.
Likekele continued his impressivre play, posting nine points, 10 rebounds and two assists in the final.
Likekele’s team-high 10 rebounds helped Team USA outrebounded its opponents 59-43.
The United States has seven FIBA U19 World Cup titles.
Likekele joined Matt Clark (1979), Marcus Smart (2013) and Jawun Evans (2015) as Cowboys who have won the gold medal at the FIBA U19 World Cup. OSU representatives have now won 23 gold medals in international play with USA basketball.
