The Oklahoma State women's golf team places 11th after the opening round of the PING/ASU Invitational at the Papago Golf Course. The Cowgirls were led by Freshman Lianna Bailey, who matched her personal best score, an even par 72, in the opening round.
The Cowgirls are tied with New Mexico and are only 13 strokes behind No. 4 Stanford for the lead. Stanford’s Andrea Lee is atop the leaderboard, scoring a 5-under par.


Sophomore Emma Whitaker and Freshman Sara Camarena tied for 42nd with opening rounds of 3-over 75.
