When Mike Boynton took the reigns of Oklahoma State’s basketball program in March 2017, he had a lot of work to do.
When Boynton took over, he was just 35 years old and had never been a head coach before. Since then, he has revived the program and put OSU back on the national radar. Because of everything he has done in these first three years as coach, he was recently named to The Athletic’s Top 40 under 40 in college basketball.
“He deserves this because he works hard on and off the court,” sophomore Kalib Boone said.
