Labor Day Bullets (Sept. 2): Watching With Corndog’s Mom, Ever-Shifting OL Rotations

Through the eyes of mom

Great idea and execution here from Jenni Carlson on sitting with Taylor Cornelius’ mom for the first game and writing about what she saw and felt.

There were moments of sheer joy. Taylor’s big 32-yard scramble in the first quarter left Phyllis standing on the bleachers, arms raised in the air, fists pumping the sky. Then, when he connected with Sione Finefeuiaki for a touchdown early in the second quarter, Phyllis cheered before pausing a moment.
