It came as no surprise when last week, Mike Gundy and his staff released the first depth chart that featured junior college transfer Chris Carson at the top of the running back stable.
He has earned praise from coaches, staff, and media throughout camp, with Tulsa World’s Bill Haisten saying he ‘has an NFL look.‘
After the depth chart was released, even his teammates couldn’t help but gush about the junior ball carrier from Georgia.
“The person I can most compare him to is an (NFL all-pro) Adrian Peterson,” OSU cornerback Kevin Peterson told the Stillwater News Press.
