The Kansas City Chiefs have waived former OSU safety Jordan Sterns to make room for newly-signed defensive tackle Roy Miller, the team announced on Thursday.
Sterns sat out a big chunk of training camp dealing with an illness, and his absence may have played a factor in the decision.
Chiefs make it official, waiving S Jordan Sterns to clear room for DT Roy Miller. He's been out last few days with illness.
Sterns, 23, signed with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent this spring. After a productive four-year career at OSU manning the Cowboy secondary, many believed him to be a steal as an undrafted player who enjoyed a productive career at the Division I level with 328 tackles and five interceptions in four years.
