Justin Phillips will get another shot to prove he deserves to be in the NFL.
On Tuesday, the now Las Vegas Raiders announced they had resigned the free agent and former OSU tackle leader. Phillips spent most of last season with the team’s practice squad.
After signing with Dallas as an undrafted free agent in 2019, Phillips landed with the Raiders — then in the Bay area — and appeared in four games as a rookie, recording seven tackles. Phillips contributed mostly on special teams in his appearances but did register 14 snaps on defense, tallying four total tackles (including two solo) during the Raiders’ lost to Green Bay.
