Justice Hill has been named one of 11 national semifinalists for the Doak Walker Award, presented annually to the top running back in college football.
Hill, a true sophomore (!!), is the leading rusher in the Big 12 with 1,198 yards this season, averaging 119.8 yards per game. He also leads the conference with 12 rushing touchdowns — a mark that ranks 18th nationally.
“I’d like for somebody to show me a better running back than five, anywhere,” Gundy said recently of Hill. “I can say it for him. He’s not gonna say it, he’s too humble, and he doesn’t hardly talk, but I mean, boy, he’s pretty good.
