Here is a comparison of their freshman seasons so far. Remember, Randle didn’t play that much his freshman year because of Kendall Hunter. He did, however, catch a lot of passes which is something OSU has yet to explore with Hill — probably because it has other, better pass-catching RBs.

From a rushing standpoint, almost identical. And Hill’s came against better teams. Now, I’m not saying Hill will have the absurd career in Stillwater that Joe Randle had, but that is certainly the trajectory.
