STILLWATER — John Talley had an eventful summer.
He was elected to the state House of Representatives in June and lost his lawsuit against Sports Illustrated Magazine in September.
Talley sued over his depiction in the magazine's "The Dirty Game" 2013 series about the football program at Oklahoma State University.
He complained the magazine falsified and omitted information to recast his activities in a false light to portray him as "one of the linchpins of illegal boosting activities."
He also complained the reporters knew their sources had troubled backgrounds and were on less than positive terms with the OSU football team.
