Curtis Jones, a junior guard from Richmond, Virginia, is a Co-Big 12 Newcomer of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday. Miles Reynolds, a graduate transfer guard for Oklahoma, is the other honoree.
In Jones' debut at Gallagher-Iba Arena on Friday, he led the Cowboys to a victory against Central Arkansas.
