It was announced a few months ago that former Cowboy wrestler and UFC champion Johny Hendricks had decided to retire from mixed martial arts.
Apparently, that doesn’t mean he’s completely out of the fighting game just yet. Hendricks is now scheduled to fight another former MMA fighter Brennan Ward in the WBKFF, that’s the World Bare Knuckle Fighting Federation.
Spoke to Johny Hendricks (@JohnyHendricks), who confirmed he's signed a deal to bare-knuckle box Brennan Ward (@SwaggleBerryFin) later this year. Ward, who informed Bellator last week he wishes to retire from MMA, is asking for a release, I'm told.
