Jilyen Poullard opened and closed Oklahoma State’s offense in its come-from-behind win.
The five-seeded Cowgirls defeated Kentucky 6-2 Saturday in a winners-bracket matchup, giving OSU its seventeenth-straight regional round win at Cowgirl Stadium. OSU will next play in the Stillwater Regional finale at 2 p.m. Sunday against a to-be-determined opponent.
Poullard, one of the country’s hottest hitters, hit a pair of homers in the Cowgirls' win. It was the senior outfielder’s sixth and seventh home runs in her last nine hits (!), which propelled OSU to fight off the Wildcats’ hot start and remain undefeated in regional play.
