Jimmy Jackson, a former three-time heavyweight national champion for OSU, will be inducted posthumously to the National Wrestling Hall of Fame.
OSU athleticsOn Tuesday, it was announced OSU wrestler Jimmy Jackson will be inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame as part of the 2023 class.
During his time at OSU, Jackson was a three-time NCAA national champion and Big 8 conference champion in the heavyweight class. He posted a career record of 88-9-2 with 44 falls — recording a perfect 29-0 record as a senior. He became the first African American wrestler to win at least three NCAA individual championships.
