Any time the Cowboys prepare to face their in-state rival from Norman, there’s something extra on the line.
Saturday’s game between the Oklahoma State and Oklahoma football teams is the 113th episode of the Bedlam series; a series filled with thrilling upsets, eye-catching highlights, crushing blowouts and everything in between. The Sooners have dominated OSU in the rivalry, which dates back to Nov. 6, 1904, when OU defeated then-Oklahoma A&M 75-0 in Guthrie.
The Sooners lead the series 87-18-7, and the latest Cowboy victory was in 2014 when OSU won 38-35 in overtime in Norman.
Sophomore receiver Tylan Wallace, a native of Fort Worth, Texas, said he knew of the history between the schools long before he arrived in Stillwater.
