STILLWATER — For 20 seconds, Oklahoma State’s core senior trio put on a show.
Cam McGriff caught the wild pass to the low post, pivoted and dropped in a layup as he was fouled. He made the free throw for a three-point play.
Teammate Lindy Waters III then blocked Iowa State guard George Conditt’s layup.
That led to a breakaway layup for Thomas Dziagwa.
Quickly, five points and a defensive stand led to a 12-point lead with nearly 4 minutes remaining Saturday.
“It’s pretty fitting,” OSU coach Mike Boynton said.
On a day the Cowboys’ trio of senior captains were honored, the Cowboys pulled away for a 73-61 victory over Iowa State inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.
