Brad Underwood got his guy – Brandon Averette – for a second time on Tuesday evening.
The 5-foot-11 guard from Richardson, Texas, originally committed and signed with Stephen F. Austin when Underwood was the head coach, but decided to open his recruitment back up when he left for Oklahoma State. He was released from his letter of intent less than a week ago.
Although the Cowboys are the only Power Five school to offer a scholarship, it’s pretty clear Brad Underwood is very confident in what Averette can bring to the table.
As a senior, Averette averaged 22.
