Oklahoma State wide receiver Arland Bruce IV has been charged as part of a sports gambling investigation by the state of Iowa, according to a report by the Iowa City Press-Citizen.
Bruce, who played two season at the University of Iowa before transferring to Oklahoma State this offseason, is one of four players in this report charged with tampering with records related to the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation’s probe into sports gambling.
Bruce reportedly placed bets on 11 games in which he participated in. NCAA rules state that an athlete who places bets on his or her team in any sport faces permanent loss of eligibility.
