An end-of-first-half drought that halftime couldn’t remedy led to a crushing loss for the Cowboys on Tuesday evening. Oklahoma State (14-10) lost to Baylor (14-10), 67-56, deflating the Pokes’ tourney hopes and marking a season sweep for the Bears.
The Cowboys led by two a few minutes before the break, but the Bears rattled off 11 consecutive points to take a 39-30 lead into halftime. Nine of those 11 came from beyond the arc, and six of which were from Manu Lecomte. It marked the first time Baylor led at half in conference play. There were nine lead-changes in the first half.
