While his teammates are gearing up for the Thunderbird Invitational, Oklahoma State men's golfer Viktor Hovland competed at one of golf's most prestigious tournament.
Hovland shot even par on his first day at the 2019 Masters tournament in Augusta, Georgia.
Alan Bratton, OSU's men's golf coach, served as Hovland's caddie.
Former OSU golfers Alex Noren, Charles Howell III and Rickie Fowler were among the 87 golfers competing in the tournament. At the 2018 Masters tournament, Fowler finished second.
Hovland was paired with Webb Simpson and Patrick Reed, the reigning Masters champion.
