STILLWATER – Oklahoma State's Colin Simpson entered Saturday with privileged information on Kansas State pitcher Parker Rigler.
Simpson used to catch him at Edmond Memorial High School.
Squaring off in Game 2 of the weekend series, Simpson caught Rigler again – twice – singling in a run in the first inning, then pounding a towering home run that climbed nearly to the top of the light pole in right field in the third, helping fuel the Cowboys' 13-3 win at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium.
OSU evened the weekend at 1-1, putting the series on the line Sunday, with the clinching game set for noon.
