STILLWATER — Oklahoma State and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi each have five wins this season, but have gotten to that number in drastically different ways.
The Cowboys’ nonconference schedule has been grueling with impressive wins against Charleston, Memphis and LSU. The Islanders have beaten only one Division-I team, UT-Arlington, while also picking up wins against a Division-III school, a Division-II school and two NAIA schools, one of which is a school actually called Our Lady of the Lake University.
Despite the dip in competition, this is an important game for the Cowboys, as it’s their last opportunity to work out any kinks they have before starting Big 12 play against Iowa State on Wednesday.
