Examining the rebuild on the defensive line

This Season: The Cowboys have holes to fill across the board after losing six defensive linemen from last year’s team. Martin, Evers, Murray and Scott played in backup roles last year, while Antwine and Junior were starters at their previous schools. Still, this group needs to gel quickly.
Defensive coordinator Jim Knowles likes the blend of player types, particularly with some bigger ends like Lacy — who is listed at 265 but says he weighs 280 — and Fofana, plus agile and athletic tackles to give the group some versatility in how Knowles uses them.
