The 2024 season ended sourly Friday for Oklahoma State, which lost to Colorado 52-0.
The game was never particularly close for head coach Mike Gundy and the Cowboys, as mistakes and penalties became a familiar sight throughout the contest.
In the middle of the third quarter, it seemed like OSU’s offense was finding some rhythm down 35-0. But after a couple of short passes to wide receiver Brennan Presley and an Ollie Gordon II run for no gain, the Cowboys found themselves at a fourth-and-1. Trying to find any momentum, Gundy decided to go for the first down.
